t is with great thanks and sincere appreciation that I am writing you this note. Today is my one year anniversary of quitting smoking. Last year on this date I attended your seminar at the Discovery Center. I came home that night and threw out my cigarettes and my ashtrays and have never smoked again. I found your CD to be invaluable. I listened to it twice a day for six months. It really helped.
I am a nurse in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at _______ Hospital, and I should have known better. So many people come in with massive heart attacks and although many of these people were young and relatively healthy, the common denominator was always cigarette smoking. I also lost my aunt and good friend from high school to lung cancer in the last year.
Keep up the good work, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Hopefully I will be an ex-smoker 10 years from now.
